Grade: Moderate/Strenous at first on good track then narrow hill path.

This is a walk which you can start at any end, but I prefer the Okel end. Mostly track for the first three kilometres then onto the open hill on faint path, more like a sheep track would be a better description which in places hugs the steep hillside and is very indistinct in places. Its a continues but steady climb up the re-entrant, cross over the burn at the top and back track on the other side for a short distance then the path turns to the east and you head for the bealach. On reaching the bealach you can see all the way down to Kentra Bay and where the hill path joins the track on the other side. Still a bit to go before the end.

In bad weather or visibility the open part of the hill could prove difficult if your navigation skills are not up to scratch. However on saying that if you want the hill to yourself this is the place for you.
