Walk Grade: Easy/Moderate - following well - defined footpaths and tracks but with possibly some easy gradients and less than 5 hrs duration.

This is an excellent walk which follows a well defined track up the glen through the woodland and eventually comes out onto  the open hill with the path becoming faint in places but you can see ahead of you the spoil heaps from the mine workings. Once up here you get fine views of Druim Garbh (Rough Back), Sgurr  Dhomhnill (Donalds Mountain) and Sgurr na h-Ighninn (Daughters Mountain).
